The document was signed by First Deputy Finance Minister of Belarus Vladimir Amarin and Chairman of the Board of the Korean Stock Exchange Kim Bong-soo.
At the signing ceremony Kim Bong-soo stated that the cooperation that had begun will allow sharing extensive cutting-edge Korean experience of organizing the stock market and stock exchange operation with Belarus. It will enable conditions for Belarusian organizations to enter the financial market of Korea.
Market capitalization of the Korean stock market reached $1.1 trillion as of March 2012. By the number of listed companies the Korean Stock Exchange is the world’s ninth biggest stock exchange as of late 2011.
