Braslav District, Estonian Rapla County establish twinning relations

MINSK, 20 April (BelTA) – Braslav District of Belarus and Rapla County of Estonia have signed an agreement on establishing twining relations. A delegation of Rapla County led by the Rapla Mayor is on a visit to Braslav on 17-21 April. The delegation includes representatives of local authorities, cultural figures and businessmen, BelTA learnt from the press service of the Belarusian Foreign Ministry.
The agreement envisages running joint projects in economy, culture, and tourism.
The program of the visit includes meetings of the local authorities of the two regions, and business meetings. A roundtable session was held to present investment and trading potential of the Belarusian region and its tourist attractions. The Estonian delegation visited a number of manufacturing and cultural facilities as well as tourist attractions of Braslav District.
