Alyaksandr Lukashenka made a number of government appointments on June 15.
According to the presidential press office, the head of state appointed:
--Valyantsin Mikhnevich as first deputy interior minister/chief of the criminal police;
--Syarhey Daroshka as chief of the interior ministry's Corrections Department;
--Ihar Yawseyew as chief of the Vitsyebsk regional police department.
Mr. Lukashenka also gave his consent to the appointment of:
--Ihar Hayewski as deputy health minister/chief sanitary officer of Belarus;
--Vasil Budkevich as deputy education minister;
--Syarhey Rudy as deputy education minister;
--Henadz Trubila as deputy housing minister;
--Valery Kavalkow as deputy labor and social security minister;
--Viktar Karankevich as deputy energy minister;
--Syarhey Syamashka as deputy head of the State Standardization Committee/head of the Committee’s energy efficiency department;
--Henadz Anufreyenka as director general of industrial equipment company AAT Strommashyna;
--Eduard Hawrylkovich as director general of crushed stone mining company RUVP Hranit;
--Ryhor Kasyachenka as rector of Belarusian State University of Physical Culture;
--Uladzimir Kisyalyow as director general of Belarusian Cement Plant;
--Yury Hroyeraw as first deputy head of the Television and Radio Broadcasting Organization of the Belarusian-Russian Union State.
