Martynov to attend EaP ministerial meeting in Brussels

MINSK, 20 July (BelTA) – The annual ministerial meeting of the Eastern Partnership partner countries, the EU member states, the European External Action Service and the European Commission will take place in Brussels on 23 July. The event will be attended by the Belarusian delegation headed by Foreign Minister of Belarus Sergei Martynov, BelTA was told in the press service of the Foreign Ministry

The meeting will discuss the interim results of the Eastern Partnership initiative, prospects for the coming year, the EaP roadmap for 2012-2013 adopted by the EU in May 2012.

The head of the Belarusian delegation will deliver a report on Belarus’ position on the relations with the EU and on the ways to enhance the efficiency of the Eastern Partnership, and will hold bilateral meetings with senior officials of the EU and the heads of delegations of the countries participating in the meeting.
