Prime Minister of Belarus Mikhail Miasnikovich called completely untrue the media information about Belarus’s alleged dairy products dumping on the Russian market, thus causing problems to local producers. "We keep everything, related to non-tariff regulation, such as the volume and assortment lists, in compliance with arrangements," he stressed.
"As for prices, we do not sell cheaper than the Russians do, even somewhat higher. It depends on the quality and volume. The commercial work is carried out very correctly here," said Mikhail Miasnikovich during a working trip to Brest voblast on June 29.
The Prime Minister also said that this year Belarus would increase the supply of dairy products in Russia by 200 tons to 3.8 million tons, which had already been agreed at the state level.
As Telegraf previously reported, the Russian Union of Producers of dairy products had repeatedly accused Belarus of dumping on the Russian dairy market and called to limit the supply of Belarusian milk to Russia.
Nevertheless, the Belarusian side denies the charges.
