OSTROVETS, 15 June (BelTA) – A Turkish company is going to invest up to $30 million in the construction of three facilities near Ostrovets, Chairman of the Ostrovets district executive committee Adam Kovalko told media on 15 June.

In 2011 the Turkish investor and the district executive committee signed an agreement on construction of a hotel, an agro-tourist, sports and entertainment center, and a motorway service facility.

A three-star six-storied hotel will be built in the downtown of Ostrovets. The development of the project on a motorway service facility is almost ready. It will be located near the Kotlovka checkpoint at the Belarusian-Lithuanian border. The project includes the construction of a restaurant, a service station, a car wash, trading outlets, and a motel. The third facility, an agro-tourist center, will be housed in the Olkhovka village. The center will comprise sports facilities and provide spa services.

The completion of the projects is slated for 2014.
