16.08.12. UNDP Belarus launched implementation of the new project of international assistance “Local Entrepreneurship and Economic Development”, for which the Ministry of Sports and Tourism of Belarus will be an implementing organization.
The project will be implemented in the territory of Brest and Grodno regions, and has a task to increase the role of private sector in the economy of the two regions and tourist sector of Belarus, i.e. targeted in its essence at maximum involvement of dwellers of rural areas and small towns into eco- and agro-tourism. The project budget makes almost USD 2 million; it will be implemented during 2012 – 2014.
