The invitation was conveyed during a meeting of Chairman of the Vitebsk City Hall Viktor Nikolaikin with foreign delegates who came to Vitebsk for the International Investment Forum that opened on 25 June. The German partners took interest in products and investment projects of Vitebsk enterprises. The Vitebsk City Hall accepted the invitation.
About 100 local enterprises are taking part in the forum. They have brought their investment projects, innovative technologies and new products, and arranged exhibitions and tastings. The forum also presents the projects on tourist infrastructure development in Vitebsk, including the one to develop a quarter in Pokrovskaya Street where Marc Chagall was born and lived. Marc Chagall’s house is now a museum.
Attending the forum are foreign delegations and partners from Haskovo (Bulgaria), Daugavpils (Lithuania), Frankfurt an der Oder (Germany), Stupino and Smolensk (the Russian Federation) and also representatives of foreign embassies accredited in Belarus.
The International Investment Forum in Vitebsk is dedicated to the 1038th anniversary of the founding of the city.
