
MINSK, 4 October (BelTA) – The Belarusian Ice Hockey Federation and the National Anti-Doping Agency are implementing a program to prevent the use of banned substances in the Belarusian extra league and supreme league ice hockey championships, BelTA learned from the press service of the Belarusian Ice Hockey Federation.
This season the anti-doping program will be running in the country's supreme league. According to Sports Director of the Belarusian Ice Hockey Federation Alexander Khromylev, players that make their first steps into the professional sport should understand that they take on responsibility for fair and clean sport.
The first seminar on the matter included reports on the rules of getting permission for therapeutic research and the use of biologically active supplements. Attending the seminar were doctors of the ice hockey teams that take part in the Belarus open, extra league and supreme league championships.
