Belarus 9th in Single Mixed Relay at IBU European Championships in Tyumen

MINSK, 24 February (BelTA) – The IBU Open European Championships kicked off in Tyumen, Russia on 24 February, BelTA has learned.

Victoria Slivko and Anton Babikov of Russia came out winners in the Single Mixed Single by clocking 36:59:0. Silver went to Germany (+37.9 seconds) and bronze to Norway (+52.7). All three did without penalty laps. Belarus was represented by Dinara Alimbekova and Viktor Krivko who did two misses on the shooting range and were 2:39:9 behind the winning time, thus finishing 9th.

Another mixed relay to be held on 24 February will feature teams of four athletes (2 women and 2 men). The Belarusian squad includes Krisitna Ilchenko, Maria Panfilova, Dmitry Abasheev and Sergei Bocharnikov.
