Belarus attends 47th session of UN Statistical Commission

MINSK, 10 March (BelTA) – Chairperson of the National Statistics Committee Inna Medvedeva took part in the 47th session of the United Nations Statistical Commission, BelTA learnt from the Belarusian Statistics Committee.

The 47th session of the UN Statistical Commission took place in New York on 8-9 March. The agenda included more than 30 issues, including matters important for Belarus. This is, first of all, data and indicators for the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development.

The participants of the meeting discussed transformative agenda for official statistics, improvement of the collection, preparation and distribution of national accounts statistics, environmental-economic accounting, information and communications technology statistics, and refugee statistics.
