MINSK, 3 March (BelTA) – Belarus and the Council of Europe are mapping out ways to strengthen bilateral cooperation, the press service of the Belarusian Ministry of Foreign Affairs told BelTA after a meeting between Permanent Representative of Belarus to the European Union, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Belarus to Belgium Andrei Yevdochenko and Italian MP and PACE rapporteur on Belarus Andrea Rigoni that took place on 2 March.
“The parties discussed the current state and development prospects of the Belarus-EU relations, ways to bolster cooperation between Belarus and the Council of Europe, and organization of joint events,” the press service said.
