MINSK, 14 March (BelTA) – Belarus' entry for the 2016 Eurovision Song Contest IVAN (Alexander Ivanov) will film his presentation postcard in Belarus on 30 and 31 March, said Olga Salamakha who coordinates projects of the Belarusian TV and Radio Company and the European Broadcasting Union (EBU), BelTA learned from the press service of the Belarusian media company.
Olga Salamakha is attending the official Head of Delegation Meeting in Stockholm. The event has brought together delegates of all countries participating in the 2016 Eurovision Song Contest.
Several locations will be chosen for the shooting to present the Belarusian singer in the best way possible and integrate him into the show. The presentation postcard will feature a dandelion, the logo of this year's edition of the international contest.
At the invitation of the EBU, the Belarusian delegation attended Melodifestivalen for the first time as jury members on 12 March. Representatives of the media holding praised the excellent organization of the Swedish national selection.
Eurovision 2016 will be held in Stockholm on 14 May. The semifinals are scheduled for 10 and 12 May.
Belarus will perform in the second semi-final on 12 May together with Albania, Australia, Belgium, Bulgaria, Denmark, Macedonia, Georgia, Ireland, Israel, Latvia, Lithuania, Norway, Poland, Romania, Serbia, Slovenia, Switzerland and Ukraine.
