Museum of the Belarusian Interior Ministry
MINSK, 1 March (BelTA) – The museum of the Belarusian Interior Ministry will open its doors for free to any policeman from around the globe once its reopens after a makeover, Belarus' Interior Minister Igor Shunevich told media on 1 March, BelTA has learned.
“Any policeman who comes to the museum in uniform will be able to visit it free of charge,” said the minister.
According to Igor Shunevich, the museum is currently closed for renovation. The museum will open in 2017 to mark the 100th anniversary of the Belarusian police. “The renewed museum will have a new working timetable. It will be more liberal,” the minister said answering the question on why the museum previously offered only arranged guided tours.
