MINSK, 26 February (BelTA) – Belarus and Israel are considering ways to increase mutual tourist flows. The matter was discussed during the working meeting between Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Belarus to Israel Vladimir Skvortsov and General Director of the Israel-Belarus Chamber of Commerce Gedaliya Koltanyuk, BelTA learned from the press service of the Belarusian Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
The press service said that in the context of the abolition of visas between Belarus and Israel, the parties discussed ways to increase mutual tourist flows. Vladimir Skvortsov and Gedaliya Koltanyuk agreed to consider the possibility of organizing a press tour for representatives of Israeli travel agencies and media to Belarus to study the country's tourism potential.
During the meeting, the sides also discussed steps to be jointly taken by Belarus and Israel in the following few months to boost Belarus' exports and attract Israeli investments to the Belarusian economy.
