KAZAN, 16 March (BelTA) - Belarus is ready to offer a wide range of modern vehicle components to KamAZ, Belarus' Premier Andrei Kobyakov told media after his meeting with Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov on 15 March, BelTA has learned.
“We hope to take part in the Russian import-substituting program, and especially at KamAZ. We are ready to offer a wide range of up-to-date vehicle components similar to foreign analogues both in price and quality,” noted Andrei Kobyakov. He stressed that the current supplies of Belarusian companies in a number of components reach 60-100%.
According to the Belarusian PM, these cooperation prospects will be discussed during his visit to KamAZ on 16 March.
Andrei Kobyakov is in Tatarstan on a working visit on 15-16 March. On 16 March the Belarusian head of government is expected to visit MTZ-YelAZ Trading House (Yelabuga District), the Alabuga special economic zone (Yelabuga) and OAO KIP Master (Naberezhnye Chelny).
