MINSK, 11 March (BelTA) – Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Belarus to Tajikistan Oleg Ivanov presented his credentials to President Emomali Rahmon, BelTA learned from the press service of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Belarus.
During the conversation, Tajikistan President Emomali Rahmon expressed satisfaction with the pace of development of the Belarus-Tajikistan relations. He also said that the Tajikistan business community shows a great interest in mutually beneficial cooperation.
The Belarusian Ambassador also met with Tajikistan First Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs Nizomiddin Zohidi. The parties discussed a wide range of issues on the bilateral agenda, including the next meeting of the Belarusian-Tajik intergovernmental commission on trade and economic cooperation, the strengthening of the legal framework of bilateral relations in various fields, and the interaction between the two countries in international organizations.
