MINSK, 1 March (BelTA) – The Domostroenie branch of the Shklov-based newsprint mill intends to export more frame-panel houses to France in 2016, BelTA learned from the press service of the Belarusian timber, woodworking, pulp and paper industry concern Bellesbumprom.
According to the source, interest in Domostroenie's products has been rising in the last few years due to the growing global demand for environmentally friendly homes. More and more frame-panel houses are exported. Sales on the French market are solid and continue growing stronger.
In particular, in 2015 the Domostroenie enterprise sold 12 frame-panel houses of the Verny Second design for €216,600 to a French company. In January 2016 the same company bought four Verny Second frame-panel houses and three Verny G1-3 garages for a total of €81,500.
Domostroenie has contracted to make and ship 17 frame-panel houses and seven Haucourt Moulaine design garages to another French company in February-March 2016 for a total of €182,500. In January 2016 the French company bought two frame-panel houses of the kindergarten design for a total of €32,900.
For the sake of the development of a French village the Domostroenie enterprise intends to make 13 frame-panel houses this year.
New target markets are being sought. While taking part in an investment forum in Pakistan in 2015 the Domostroenie enterprise reached preliminary agreements on shipping frame-panel houses to three companies this year. Negotiations with a Czech company specializing in building affordable frame-panel houses and laminated beam houses in Czechia are in progress.
The Shklov-based newsprint mill was founded in 2005. It makes newsprint as well as wooden houses and glued wood products. The wooden houses and glued wood products are made by the Domostroenie branch.
