MINSK, 10 March (BelTA) – The game World of Tanks has been given a Belarusian localization, BelTA learned from SOOO Game Stream, the developer of the game.
The MMO action game World of Tanks is now available in Belarusian. The game has been given full Belarusian voiceovers while the combat commands the entire world has come to love can be heard in Belarusian, the native language of World of Tanks' home country.
The Belarusian localization is a token of recognition of the large community of World of Tanks fans. There are over 1 million World of Tanks players in Belarus. The Belarusian localization represents another step towards adapting the game to preferences and peculiarities of yet another region.
“The release of the Belarusian localization is an important event for us,” said World of Tanks product manager Maxim Chuvalov. “We approached this work responsibly and hope that Belarusian players will appreciate our efforts.”
In order to get the Belarusian localization for World of Tanks, players will need to update the game to version 9.14 and choose the Belarusian language in the dropdown menu in the launcher application.
At present the game World of Tanks is available in 39 languages. Along with the Belarusian localization patch 9.14 will also offer Ukrainian and Kazakh localizations.
World of Tanks is a massive multiplayer online game that allows players to drive and control armored fighting vehicles of the mid-20th century. It brings together fans of steel behemoths from all over the world.
Game Stream is an independent software development studio that resides in the Hi-Tech Park. SOOO Game Stream was established in 2005 for the sake of developing software for intelligent systems and data visualization.
