Belarusian Railways to present its transit opportunities in Moscow

- Belarusian Railways will present its transit opportunities at a roundtable session named “Transit opportunities of Belarus to ensure transportation of Russian foreign trade cargoes” at the Belarusian Embassy in Russia on 28 November, BelTA learnt from the Belarusian Embassy in Moscow.

The event is designed to attract additional flows of cargo transported between Belarus and Russia, update freight owners and forwarding agents on Belarusian Railways’ tariff policy for the 2014 freight year and demonstrate the capabilities of Belarusian Railways to transport Russian foreign trade freight.

The participants of the roundtable will be briefed on the effort to increase cargo traffic and on the marketing strategy for 2014, the measures to secure free movement of freight cars to and from Russia and to promote the development of transportation and forwarding activities.

It is planned that the event will be attended by head of Belarusian Railways Vladimir Morozov and Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Belarus to Russia Igor Petrishenko.
