– In January-May 2013, OAO BelAZ delivered 23 rock haulers to the Kuzbassrazrezugol coal company, including 10 with the carrying capacity of 130 tonnes and 13 vehicles with the carrying capacity of 220 tonnes. Before the end of this year, BelAZ will ship six more rock haulers, including a 220-tonne one, BelTA learned from the company.
Currently, the Russian company Kuzbassrazrezugol is in the middle of an investment program to the tune of RUB1.5 billion, and is busy upgrading its fleet of rock haulers mostly with new Belarusian equipment. Kuzbassrazrezugol mainly uses 130-tonne BelAZ -75131 and 220-tonne BelAZ-75306. They optimally match the company’s fleet of earthmovers. The technological process involves more than 350 such machines.
OAO BelAZ seeks to meet the requirements of consumers, examines their proposals, and makes deliveries of machines on schedule, which strengthens the long-term partnership between the Belarusian producer and Kuzbass coal company.
Founded in September 1948, the Zhodino-based mechanical engineering company Belarusian Autoworks (BelAZ) was incorporated into a joint-stock company in 2010. As of October 2012 OAO BelAZ is the management company of BelAZ Holding. BelAZ offers rock haulers, frontal wheeled loaders and bulldozers, tow trucks, special vehicles for underground operations, heavy-duty trucks for metallurgy industry, and other specialized vehicles. BelAZ accounts for a third of the global market of rock haulers and is a leading global supplier of quarry machines.
