MINSK, 25 February (BelTA) – Minsk is playing host to a set of events to mark the Chinese Spring Festival on 24-26 February, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of China to Belarus Cui Qiming said a press conference on 24 February, BelTA has learned.
On 25 February the program will feature a gala concert named Spring Holiday Brings Joy to Belarus at the Belarusian State Philharmonics. The Chinese cultural bazaar will take place on 26 February.
The Henan creative group performed in Belarus after the press conference on 24 February. The concert featured dances, national musical instruments and Chinese wushu.
According to Cui Qiming, the Spring Festival celebrations are widely celebrated in Minsk for the second time. Last year Chinese artists received a warm welcome in Belarus.
