Government appoints UFS Investment Company to act as Belarus` investment agent

The Council of Ministers has authorized the Moscow-based UFS Investment Company to represent the interests of Belarus in talks with potential foreign investors.

The cabinet issued a directive to this effect on October 17, said its press office on Friday.

Under the document, the company will act as Belarus’ investment agent until January 1, 2017. The economy ministry will be in charge of maintaining contacts with the company.

The UFS Investment Company provides a wide range of financial services. It acts as an organizer and financial consultant for transactions in the share/ equity capital market and debt market. It helps its customers assess market opportunities for further development both during an economic growth and a crisis, and attract investments. The company opened its office in Belarus earlier this year. //BelaPAN
