Liudmila Yakimovich first runner-up at Miss Supranational 2011

GRODNO, 30 August (BelTA) – Miss Belarus 2010 Liudmila Yakimovich from Grodno has become first runner-up at the Miss Supranational 2011 pageant which took place in Polish Plock, BelTA has learned.

Partaking in the contest were girls from 70 countries. The contest was preceded by a 20-day marathon across Poland.

Monika Lewczuk from Poland was crowned Miss Supranational 2011.

Miss Supranational is the 3rd edition of the Miss Supranational pageant which has been held in Poland for three years. Within two days Plock played host to three finals of the contests Miss Supranational, Miss Polski and Miss Polski Nastolatek. In 2009 Belarus’ Marina Lepesha became Miss Supranational first runner-up.

Liudmila Yakimovich won the national contest in 2010. She also became Miss Photo.
