Lower house of Belarusian parliament to review government action program 4-6 April

MINSK, 3 March (BelTA) – The House of Representatives of the National Assembly of Belarus will review the 2016-2020 Belarus government action program at the beginning of its spring session, Chairman of the House of Representatives Permanent Commission on Economic Policy Viktor Valyushitsky told journalists on 3 March, BelTA has learned.

“At the very beginning of the spring session, that is on 4, 5, or 6 April, we will be considering the program,” the MP said.

Viktor Valyushitsky believes that the provisions of decree No. 78 concerning measures to improve the effectiveness of the social and economic complex of the Republic of Belarus must be reflected in the program.

The MP stressed that to encourage the development of small and medium-sized businesses, it is necessary to lower the costs of financial resources. “If we do not settle the matter, this will hamper the development of entrepreneurship,” he pointed out.

Viktor Valyushitsky added that he supports the development of the institute of trust management and public-private partnership.
