– A business forum bringing together representatives of the Single Economic Space (SES) member states will be held in Minsk on 31 May. Businessmen from Belarus, Kazakhstan and Russia will discuss business communities’ expectations regarding the future Eurasian Economic Union. The information on the forum is published on the website of the Economy Ministry of Belarus, BelTA has learnt.
Heads of government of the Republic of Belarus, the Republic of Kazakhstan and the Russian Federation are set to deliver speeches at a plenary session that will be held as part of the forum. Partaking in the plenary session will be the leadership of the Eurasian Economic Commission, state bodies and business communities of the three countries. Delegates from the member states of the Customs Union and the Single Economic Space including bordering states will also partake in the forum. These delegates include officials representing ministries and agencies, political and public figures, heads of leading entrepreneurial associations and unions, representatives of chambers of commerce and industry and international organizations as well as businesspersons and economic experts.
The forum aims at the further consolidation of the SES integration and the development of integration between the businessmen from Belarus, Kazakhstan and Russia. The forum will discuss the pressing problems that businesspersons confront while conducting business in the SES. Thematic sections on R&D, transport and logistics, industrial cooperation, tourism and IT will be organized at the forum, too. Co-locating with the forum will be an exhibition of the Belarusian equipment and a fair featuring the Belarusian goods.
