Nothing about financial support for Belarus from Russia on Supreme State Council agenda

MINSK, 25 February (BelTA) – Financial support for Belarus from Russia was not discussed during the session of the Supreme State Council of the Union State of Belarus and Russia in Minsk on 25 February, BelTA learned from Grigory Rapota, State Secretary of the Union State.

The official noted that the matter was not on the agenda of the session yet it may have been discussed out of the public view.

BelTA reported earlier that the Russian government has decided to support Belarus with refinancing the country's commitments and with borrowing more from the Eurasian Development Bank.
