MINSK, 4 April (BelTA) – Over $800 million has been allocated for the operation and development of the Belarusian army, BelTA learned from Belarusian Defense Minister Andrei Ravkov on 4 April.
“In plain figures we are getting slightly more than $800 million this year,” said the official when asked about how much money the state budget spends on maintaining and developing the Belarusian army.
The Belarusian Defense Minister presented a new draft national Military Doctrine in the House of Representatives of the National Assembly of Belarus on 4 April. The document went through the first reading.
