– Deputy Foreign Minister of Belarus Valentin Rybakov has spoken at the Utah Valley University Symposium to Raise Awareness of Human Trafficking in the U.S., BelTA learnt from the press service of the Belarusian Foreign Ministry.
Valentin Rybakov informed the symposium participants about the efforts of Belarusian diplomats to implement the initiative voiced by President Alexander Lukashenko at the UN Summit in New York in 2005. The initiative called on improving coordination of international efforts to combat human trafficking.
He presented Belarus’ initiatives aimed at increasing international cooperation to fight modern slavery.
Valentin Rybakov visited the state of Utah on 25-26 November.
