Sajdik: Donbass elections possible in 2016

MINSK, 2 March (BelTA) – I am sure the local elections in some areas of Donetsk and Lugansk Oblasts will take place during 2016, Ambassador Martin Sajdik, the Special Representative of the OSCE Chairperson-in-Office in Ukraine and in the Trilateral Contact Group, told a press conference, BelTA has learned.

When asked whether the local elections are possible in some areas of Donetsk and Lugansk oblasts in 2016, the diplomat said: “I am sure that the elections will take place.”
