MINSK, 17 February (BelTA) – A delegation of Turkish businessmen working in the timber industry will visit Belarus. This agreement was reached during a meeting between Belarus Consul General Vladimir Mironovich and Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Istanbul Commodity Exchange Ali Kopuz, BelTA learned from the Belarusian Consulate in Istanbul.
“The parties reached an agreement to organize the visit of a delegation of the Belarusian Universal Commodity Exchange to Istanbul and a visit of a delegation of Turkish businessmen working in the timber industry to Belarus,” the diplomatic mission informed.
During the meeting the parties discussed the development of the cooperation between the Belarusian Universal Commodity Exchange and the Istanbul Commodity Exchange, the establishment of a warehouse of Belarusian products in Istanbul, and the ways of expanding trade and economic ties.
“We are ready to develop comprehensive contacts within the framework of the cooperation agreement signed with the Belarusian Universal Commodity Exchange,” Mr Ali Kupuz said.
