Union State defense ministries to hold joint session in Belarus in 2016

MINSK, 1 March (BelTA) – One of Belarus' regional capitals will host a joint session of the Belarusian Defense Ministry and the Russian Defense Ministry in 2016, Belarus' Interior Minister Igor Shunevich told journalists on 1 March, BelTA has learned.

“It does not matter where the session will take place. It will be held at one of the Belarusian regional capitals. No final decision has been made yet,” Igor Shunevich said.

The minister noted that transnational crime is likely to be discussed during the meeting. “This is a global problem. I think our colleagues will be interested to discuss it with us,” Igor Shunevich added.
