MINSK, 15 March (BelTA) – Vitebsk Oblast and Ayutthaya Province, Thailand have signed an agreement on establishing friendly relations. The document was inked during the official visit of the Belarusian parliamentary delegation to Thailand, BelTA learnt from the press service of the House of Representatives.
Chairman of the House of Representatives Vladimir Andreichenko and member of the Council of the Republic permanent commission for international affairs and national security, Vitebsk Oblast Governor Nikolai Sherstnev paid a visit to Ayutthaya Province. The Belarusian delegation met with the Governor of Ayutthaya Province to discuss the issues related to the establishment of interregional cooperation in the areas such as industry, agriculture, science and technology, culture, education and tourism.
“The meeting resulted in the signing of the document on establishing friendly relations between Vitebsk Oblast and Ayutthaya Province,” the press service said.
