15 killed, 28 injured in Peshawar bus blast

PESHAWAR, 16 Mar (BelTA - APP) - At least 15 people were killed including three women and a childas as a bomb exploded in a bus on Sunehri Masjid Road in Peshawar Cantonment Wednesday morning, SSP Operations Peshawar Abbas Majeed Marwat told APP.

At least 28 persons were also injured in a bus blast bringing Civil Secretariat employees to Peshawar for duty from Shergarh area of Mardan district.The injured were shifted to Lady Reading Hospital.

The National Assembly Wednesday offered "Fateha" for the departed souls of victims of bus blast in Peshawar resulting loss to precious lives besides injuries to dozen. Maulana Gohar Shah offered the Fateha on the request of Deputy Speaker Murtaza Javed Abbasi.
