Belarus, China's Macau S.A.R. agree on visa abolition

MINSK, 18 March (BelTA) - The intergovernmental agreement on the mutual abolition of visas between Belarus and Macao Special Administrative Region of the People's Republic of China was signed during the visit of Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Belarus to China Viktor Burya on 18 March, BelTA learned from the press service of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Belarus.

“The parties have already started to implement the internal procedures necessary for the commencement of the agreement. Visas will be required until the agreement enters into force,” the press service said.

In accordance with the agreement, the holders of valid travel documents of the two parties shall be exempted from having to obtain a visa for entry, exit and transit through the territory of the other party.

The duration of continuous stay in the territory of the other party shall not exceed thirty days from the date of entry. The total duration of stay in the territory of the other party shall not exceed 90 days in one calendar year.
