Belarusian expert's community in the area of foreign policy has increased Foreign Policy and Security Research Center is up and running under the auspices of the Faculty of International Relations (Belarusian State University).
At the first Round Table meeting in February 2009, experts in international affairs discussed the impact of new challenges of our time on Belarus.
In addition to scientific activities, the spokespersons of the Research Center was ready to act as experts for evaluation of foreign policy factors. The financial crisis of 2007–2010 has also become an object of study for the Foreign Policy and Security Research Center .

As representatives of political science, we believe that Belarus should develop economic and political ties with its neighbors, with the EU, the countries of the post-Soviet space. Crisis is the ability to concentrate, to assess own capabilities for the reason of moving forward into the future.
