Alexander Lukashenko received a letter of congratulations on his re-election from Ukrainian President Viktor Yanukovych, the belta.by reported.
"I am convinced that your re-election to the post of the President of the Republic of Belarus will give a new practical impetus to co-operation between our states. The dynamism of interaction will enable us to carry out large-scale projects for the good of the Ukrainian and Belarusian peoples," said Viktor Yanukovych.
