Chechnya interested in increasing supply of tires from Belarus

MINSK, 10 July (BelTA) – Russia's Chechnya is interested in increasing the supply of tires from Belarus, the press service of Belneftekhim Concern told BelTA when commenting on the meeting between chairman of the concern Igor Lyashenko and the official delegation of the Republic of Chechnya of the Russian Federation headed by Deputy Prime Minister of Chechnya Khassan Khakimov.

"The head of the delegation expressed interest in increasing the supply of tires, primarily for the agriculture industry of the entire North-Caucasian Federal District,” the press service said.

The parties agreed to explore the opportunities for greater cooperation between the companies of the Russian region and the Belarusian petrochemical industry. To this end, the parties agreed to organize an exhibition of the Belneftekhim products in Chechnya.

Currently Belarus supplies the Chechen Republic with tires and BOPP film (which is used in the production of flexible packaging for food and non-food products, labels and adhesive tapes).
