Belarus government approves 9 international technical aid projects

MINSK, 20 February (BelTA) – The Belarusian government approved nine international technical aid projects by resolution No. 104 of 17 February which was published on the National Legal Internet Portal on 20 February, BelTA has learned.

The projects were approved on the basis of proposals of the International Technical Cooperation Commission under the aegis of the Council of Ministers.

Belarus will implement projects such as “Technical aid for the development of the green economy in the Republic of Belarus”, “Consortium for the training of teachers of modern foreign languages”, “Atlantic-Caucasian initiative of technical universities to ensure high-quality education”, “Belarusian road security network”, “Inter-university network of countries of the Baltic region and Caucasus+”, “New model of the third stage of higher engineering education in compliance with the recommendations of the Bologna Process in Belarus, Russia, and Ukraine”, “Inter-academic network Erasmus Mundus II”, “Development of the forestry industry in the Republic of Belarus”, and “Enhancement of international cooperation in counteracting human trafficking in the context of the observation of human rights”.

The Environmental Protection Ministry, the Education Ministry, the Forestry Ministry, and the Interior Ministry will supervise the implementation of international technical aid projects.

Resolution No. 104 entered into force on the day of its passing.
