On 11 August the lawyer again tried to meet with the political prisoner Zmitser Dashkevich in penal colony #9 in Horki. However, the administration didn’t allow him to do it referring to “duty necessity”.
The lawyer will appeal against the groundless refusal of the colony administration and will try to visit Zmitser next week.
We also know that Zmitser Dashkevich was let out of the penal isolator where he was taken for the third time during the imprisonment. The reason is that Dashkevich allegedly refuse to work. However, his lawyer doesn’t believe in it.
Bear in mind that on 24 March 2011 Zmitser Dashkevich had been found guilty of beating two citizens together with Eduard Lobau on 18 December 2010 and had been sentenced to 2 years in minimum security colony under Article 339 of the Criminal Code of the Republic of Belarus, ‘hooliganism’.
