On May 28, the final workshop of the project Development of a new curriculum in the field of European economic law held in Minsk with the assistance of the Foreign Policy and Security research center (FPS).
Mr. Sergei Balashenko, the Dean of Law at the Belarusian State University:
Let me greet all of you gathered here for the final workshop of the TEMPUS project Development of a new curriculum in the field of European economic law. The Soul, the Heart and the Coordinator of this project is a Professor Hermann (Prof. Dr. iur. Harald Herrmann – FPS’s note),University of Erlangen-Nuremberg, who led them for two years.

Before I will describe the results of the project, I want to say a few words of thanks. First and foremost, I would like to thank the Dean of Law Mr. Balashenko. In deed and not in name, he was the soul of this project, but not me. We has been supported by the Faculty of International Relations (Belarusian State University), the Supreme Economic Court of Belarus… Our cordial thanks to them. Separately, I would like to thank Mr Rusakovich (the Chief Executive Officer of the FPS – FPS’s note), who has done great organizational, administrative work requiring greater effort in the project. I felt as at home in Belarus thanks to him.
