Lithuanian FM Requests Government to Make Free Visas for Belarusians

Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Lithuania is ready to offer its government to make the Lithuanian national visas free for Belarusian citizens. Representatives of the Foreign Ministry have already submitted a draft document to the government that provides a complete rejection of the visa fee. This was reported in the department of information agencies on July 25.

According to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the measure would contribute to the "process of democratization and the strengthening of civil society in Belarus," reports ]]> IA "REGNUM-Belarus." ]]>

The final decision on this matter will be taken by the Government of Lithuania.
