MINSK, 15 July (BelTA) - Belarus is ready for constructive dialogue with Ukraine on oil transit to third countries, particularly to Poland, through the Ukrainian and Belarusian oil pipelines, Belarusian Energy Minister Alexander Ozerets told BelTA.
“If the Ukrainian partners have any suggestions, we will consider them in detail and calculate the economics, taking into account our own interests,” said the minister. According to Alexander Ozerets, Belarus is ready to analyze all the possibilities and prospects of cooperation with Ukraine. The minister did not say when the relevant negotiations may take place.
As reported earlier, the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine instructed the Ministry of Energy and Mines, Naftogaz Ukraine and Ukrtransnafta to hold talks with Belarus on oil transit to third countries, particularly to Poland, through the Ukrainian and Belarusian oil pipelines.
