MOSCOW, 16 August (BelTA) – Three Belarusian companies will take part in the 10th International Aviation and Space Show MAKS 2011 which opens in Zhukovsky, Russia, on 16 August. Partaking in the prestigious forum will be Beltekhexport, 558 Aviation Repair Plant, and Indela, BelTA learned from the organizing committee of the show.
This year the forum will bring together over 800 companies and organizations from 40 countries. More than 200 civil and military planes, helicopters and other aircrafts have already arrived at the airfield of the Gromov Flight Research Institute. The air show will feature more than 100 aircrafts.
The exposition will also include the world’s largest passenger aircraft, the Airbus A380, and the first model of the Boeing 747 Dreamliner. The Airbus A380 will be also involved in the air show.
Russian Falcons and Russian Vityaz, the Air Force aerobatic display teams, will also give a performance. Partaking in it will be the Baltic Bees jet team from Latvia.
The exhibition will stay open till 21 August.
