MOSCOW, 16 August (BelTA) – Belarusian House, a new restaurant that offers seventy-two dishes of Belarusian cuisine was opened in Moscow on 15 August. The restaurant is located in Pokrovka Street, not far from the Embassy of Belarus in Russia, BelTA has learnt.
“Our main objective is to observe the traditions of Belarusian cuisine. We would like to demonstrate the unity of the two nations with this very example. Our clients are mainly Muscovites that will be able to feel hospitality of the Belarusian people,” said Marat Novikov, one of the founders of the restaurant.
The restaurant is meant for clients with medium income. A smoking ban is among the restaurant rules. Almost 85% of the personnel are Belarusian nationals.
Every Saturday Belarusian House will invite folklore bands. The restaurant is ready to organize celebrations of Belarusian state and national holidays.
The founders of the new restaurant are Belarusian confectionaries Spartak, Kommunarka and Slodych. Belarusian House has become the fourth Belarusian eatery opened in Moscow.
