MINSK, 22 August (BelTA) – Draft decisions on the EurAsEC Court has been prepared at the recent session of the EurAsEC Interstate Council task force, BelTA learnt from the Justice Ministry of Belarus.
They cover the structure of the EurAsEC Court Secretariat, wage conditions for judges and other court personnel, the size of fees for legal recourse, official publication of sentences, etc. The documents will be considered at a session of the commission of permanent representatives in the EurAsEC and its Integration Committee scheduled for September 2011. The final decisions on the issues will be taken by the EurAsEC member states.
According to the Justice Ministry, the task force led by Deputy Justice Minister of Belarus Igor Tushinsky comprised representatives of the ministries of justice, foreign affairs, economic, labor and social security as well as other EurAsEC state bodies.
The EurAsEC Court will be based in Minsk. It wills start functioning on 1 January 2012.
