MINSK, 29 August (BelTA) – We have fulfilled our quota for reforms in education, President of Belarus Alexander Lukashenko told Belarusian pedagogues on 29 August, BelTA has learned.
“The quota for reforms in this area has been fulfilled. There will be no more drastic changes and shake-ups,” the head of state said.
According to him, today it is essential to enhance the quality of education, update its content using scientific achievements, and raise the efficiency of educational establishments and teachers.
Alexander Lukashenko said that the level of knowledge is the backbone of the countries stability and wellbeing. According to the President, Belarus has preserved all the best things from the Soviet Union education system, including universal primary education, free secondary education, and the national system of personnel training.
