Russian Federal Service for Supervision of Consumer Rights Protection and Human Welfare intends to deal with illegal shipments to the country of mineral water "Borjomi" from Belarus. "Such a situation is seen contrary to the documents, accepted within the Customs Union," said the agency.
Thus, Minsk company "Classic Wine" keeps on supplying this product to Russia, "despite repeated instructions to stop illegal shipments," argued in Rospotrebnadzor. According to authorities, the bottle is labeled with Belarus’ excise.
"Steps will be soon taken to prevent other Belarusian suppliers from illegal importation of mineral water "Borjomi" to the territory of the Russian Federation," promised in the federal service. But they didn’t specify what kind of measures are going to be taken.
As Telegraf previously reported, April 20, the Russian Sanitary Service found bulks of Georgian mineral water "Borjomi," illegally imported from Belarus, in several regions of Russia, including Moscow. Head of the Belarusian company "Classic Wine" declared accusations unfounded. "It's a complete lie. We have not carried out any single delivery of documents or without documents," he said.
