MINSK, 16 August (BelTA) – The Russian company Mechel is interested in implementing projects in the area of metallurgy and the development of natural resources together with Belarusian companies. The statement was made by Andrei Deineko, Director General of OOO Mechel-Stal, in Minsk on 16 August.
The representative of the Russian company stressed that Mechel was ready to expand cooperation with Belarusian industrial enterprises. The intention to expand cooperation involves the development of natural resources, metallurgy, possible mutual supplies of metal products, supplies of heavy mining machinery, said Andrei Deineko. Mechel is also interested in partnering with Belarusian companies for power engineering projects and infrastructure development.
“We have accumulated massive experience in these fields and I hope we will be able to find mutual understanding,” said Andrei Deineko. “We are interested in everything that is economically effective for us”.
OAO Mechel, a major Russian company, specializing in mining operations, metallurgy, ferrous alloys and power engineering. The company unites manufacturers of coal, iron-ore concentrate, steel, rolled steel, ferrous alloys, high-added value products, heating energy and electricity. Mechel products are available in Russia and abroad.
