Another Stadler train arrives in Minsk

MINSK, 17 January (BelTA) – The third train of the Swiss company Stadler designed for regional lines of Belarusian Railways has arrived in Minsk, BelTA learnt from the press service of Belarusian Railways.

Now the new train is undergoing preoperational tests at a railroad depot in Minsk. The specialists check diagnostic systems, safety, electric devices of the train.

The company is preparing a fourth train to be operated at regional routes of Belarusian Railways. The train will be ready in early February.

Belarusian Railways signed a contract with Stadler on the delivery of ten commuter trains. Six trains were already shipped to Belarus. In H1 2012 the remaining four trains are expected to arrive: four trains will be operated in the city and one in the regions.
